Angus country resort with golf, fishing and self-catering lodges with hot tubs
Accommodation
Forbes of Kingennie sits in the Angus countryside with self-catering lodges set in woodland or on waterside locations. Each lodge at Forbes of Kingennie has a balcony, a fully fitted kitchen with oven/hob, microwave, refrigerator and kitchen utensils, and bright living areas with leather sofas and TVs. Accommodation includes The Kingfisher and Stargazer shepherds huts with hot tubs, plus lodges such as Glen Finlet and Glen Clova with private hot tubs; The Kingfisher also has a skylight above the bed.
Activities & Entertainment
The Forbes of Kingennie golf course, 18-hole putting green, mini golf and fishing ponds are set within walking distance of the lodges. Walking trails and walking tours cross the grounds and the surrounding Angus countryside. Evening programmes at Forbes of Kingennie include live music, live sport events and stand-up comedy performances.
Dining
The Scullery restaurant serves locally sourced food, including Fish Fridays, and the bar stocks wine and champagne. Lodge guests at Forbes of Kingennie receive a 10% discount on meals at the restaurant. Forbes of Kingennie's coffee house, breakfast in the room, kids' meals and special diet menus are also available.
Location
Forbes of Kingennie is in the Angus countryside, 15 minutes by car from Dundee. Dundee's Overgate Shopping Centre and rail station are both a 15-minute drive away. Scenic walking trails branch out from Forbes of Kingennie into the surrounding Angus area.
